Loj Architecture & Building Science, founded in 2015 by architect Jim Fish, RA LEED AP, CPHC, is a full service architectural firm committed to exceptional vernacular and context inspired contemporary design. Mr Fish is a Certified Passive House Consultant (CPHC) and a LEED Accredited Professional (AP) demonstrating intense passion and familiarity of sustainable methods and materials.
Based in Kingston, NY Loj is a proud winner of Realty Collective’s Eco-ttage Design Competition for sustainable renovations as well as a finalist for Dwell Magazine’s Reburbia Design Competition to find solutions addressing the problems that plague present-day suburbia.
With projects located throughout the Hudson Valley, Loj believes in innovative architectural solutions and collaborating with the client and construction team to ensure an inspired, well-supported building and environment.
Fun Fact: The spelling of “Loj” is a result of early 20th century Adirondack spelling reform of the word “Lodge.”
